Stephanie was born and raised in the Bay Area. She holds a B.A. in Justice from the American University in Washington D.C. Stephanie returned to California in 1996 to pursue a career in law enforcement. She became an Oakland Police Officer in 1997 and thoroughly enjoyed her position for 10 years. She became a K9 Handler in 2001, working with a German Shepard for 4 years. He was the best partner she ever had.

Stephanie resigned from the Oakland Police Department in late 2007 to follow her dreams of being a full time Mom and dog trainer. She has been training dogs for the past 15 years and has experience in obedience, agility, and behavior problems with canines of all shapes and sizes. She received her Pet Dog Training Certification from the Animal Behavior College and currently volunteers at Tony LaRussa’s Animal Rescue Foundation as a Certified Dog Socializer. In addition, she is a Canine Education Instructor for PETCO and an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.

She currently resides in Danville, CA with her husband, their 2 young children, a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog named Owen, a Rescue Boxer Mix named Cubby, and 2 cats.
